FORKS CHAMBER MEETING SITE CHANGED

The Forks Chamber of Commerce is moving its Wednesday noon meetings to downtown Forks beginning this month.
The meetings are now being scheduled for JT’s Sweet Stuffs at 80 North Forks Avenue.

“We are anxious to have greater attendance and hope that being located (once again) in the downtown area will encourage more folks to join us for lunchtime meetings,” Chamber Executive Director Marcia Bingham said in an e-mail.

The lunch meetings had been held at the Smokehouse restaurant east of Forks on Highway 101.

“We are grateful to the Smokehouse for many years of service,” Bingham said.

Bruce Paul of Forks Outfitters-Ace Hardware is the president of the Forks Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors for 2008, with Judge Erik Rohrer serving as past president. Debbie Scannell of Peninsula College’s Forks Extension Site is vice-president. Prue Miller of Roadrunner Shuttle is secretary, and Susan Brager of Miller Tree Inn is treasurer.
