NOTICE OF SPEED 

LIMIT REDUCTION

Limits of speed reduction: 

• 35 MPH, US 101, MP 207.00 to MP 219.71

• 35 MPH, US 101, MP 192.00 to MP 193.26

• 35MPH, SR 110 Spur, MP 7.80 to MP 10.47

• 35 MPH, SR110, MP 0.00 to MP 11.10

Notice is hereby given by the Washington State Department of Transportation that the posted speed limits on the above listed routes and mile posts noted will be reduced as noted and will be signed accordingly, beginning July 1, 2012. The existing speed limits between the above listed mile posts varies from 50 MPH to 60 MPH. This speed reduction is necessary to reduce potential collisions and damage from flying rocks in the work zone during and after chip seal paving operations and will remain in place until cure time is complete. The legal speed limit will be returned once these roadways have been swept and final pavement markings are installed.
