Obama plan: Shoot barred owls

The News Tribune in Tacoma is reporting on a plan of President Obama to protect the Northern Spotted owl by shooting and capturing its Northwest alien rival the barred owl. The plan, announced by the Department of the Interior may also allow for opening federal lands closed by the Spotted Owl controversy.
