Neah Bay boys basketball team wins

The Neah Bay boys basketball team is one step closer to adding another state 1B title during the current school year.

 The Red Devils, playing in Spokane, defeated Mount Rainier Lutheran on Thursday, March 1 in the 1B quarterfinals. 

The team now faces Valley Christian today. Valley Christian defeated Sunnyside Christian, the team Neah Bay lost to in 2011 in the state 1B finals.

Red Devil Zeke Greene scored the winning basket with just a minute to go in the game. Leading scorer for Neah Bay was Tyler McCaulley, with 15 points. The win lifted the Red Devils boys team to 20-3 for season.

The Neah Bay girls basketball team lost to Colton High School, 58-36, in 1B state play.
