Statewide Babe Ruth baseball tourney being played in Forks

The West End Youth League (WEYL) is hosting the 61st Annual Washington State Babe Ruth Fast Pitch Tournament on Thursday, July 5 through Sunday, July 8. Some 20 teams from across the state are playing with age groups ranging from 10u, 12u 14u, 16u.
 
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Duncan Fields at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 5 with play beginning at noon.

The WEYL will be hosting 20 teams in Forks and are looking for some community involvement to help with this event. Games will be held on both Duncan Fields and at Tillicum Ball fields. 

There will be two concession stands and plus four or five official score booths running. 

Daily tickets are $8 for individual adults, $5 for seniors 60+ and $5 for youth 6-12.
