The Most Reverend J. Peter Sartain, Archbishop of Seattle blessed Catholic Housing Service’s recently completed Catherine of Siena Village, located along Bogachiel Way adjacent to Forks Community Hospital and Bogachiel Clinic. Archbishop Sartain joined in a procession from St. Anne’s to the housing project after he celebrated Mass on Sunday morning for the St. Anne parish. He then traveled to Clallam Bay to say Mass at the St. Thomas Catholic Church. On Saturday evening he blessed the rectory at St. Anne’s. The Catherine of Siena Village  was developed by Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington in collaboration with Peninsula Housing Authority and  West End Outreach Services, a Division of Forks Community Hospital. The property provides 30 affordable housing units. Families and individuals are now living in the units. A dedication of the housing project is scheduled for later this month.
