Spartan homecoming game pushed back a week

The Forks High School homecoming game has been rescheduled to Friday evening, Oct. 12 with the Spartans playing Rochester. The homecoming game was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 5 against Rainier, but changed to accomodate the Lady Spartan Volleyball Team, which is playing an away match on Oct. 5. The Rainier game is still on at Spartan Stadium on Oct. 5. Quillayute Valley School District Superintendent Diana Reaume made the announcement.

The Forks Congregational Church's annual harvest dinner - which is held prior to the Spartan homecoming game - has also been postponed until Friday, Oct. 12.
