OCC crew turns old park bleachers into cart for auction

Olympic Corrections Center’s wood shop has created a wooden cart out of recycled lumber from the old bleachers at Tilicum Park.
The cart, measuring 60-inches by 32-inches with 18- and 24-inch wheels, will be part of the Quillayute Valley Scholarship auction next March.
According to Olympic Correction Center’s Greg Banner, the wood shop will take donations of scrap lumber for their projects.
Those who would like to donate lumber to the shop can call Banner at 374-8232.
