When local plumber Nathan Damron goes on a service call he takes his “plumbers helper” Alice, a Yorkie terrier. Alice survived the mean streets of Bakersfield, before the Damrons rescued her, but sadly on the Fourth of July she did not have as much luck on Blackberry Avenue where she was hit by a pick-up just a few feet from her home.

Alice has suffered two broken back legs and is awaiting a final prognosis. Due to the holiday and the fact Forks does not have a full-time vet, her family had a difficult time finding help for her injuries.
The Damrons love Alice and she is a big part of their family. Here is hoping the best for Alice’s recovery and hopefully she will be back on the job as a plumber’s helper again real soon.
