Suspects in Forks Community Hospital theft still unidentified

The Forks Police Department is still seeking help from the public in identifying individuals that may have been involved in a theft at the Forks Community Hospital. There was also a second person of interest with the first person of interest (both males)... they may have been accompanied by a female that waited outside the hospital holding a leashed large dog while these two individuals were inside the hospital.

Elks Scholarships available The 2015 Elks scholarship applications are now available and include the Most Valuable Student Competition which awards up to $50,000, over four years, and is open to any high school senior who is a U.S. citizen as well as Vocational Grants, Legacy Grants & Emergency Education Grants. Congregational Church installs pastor

Moderator Bob Henry invites members and friends of the First Congregational Church/United Church of Christ to the installation and licensing service of the Rev. Warren Johnson as their pastor. After serving the church for the past six years in the role of lay pastor, in August of this year Johnson received his ministerial license through the United Church of Christ Northwest Conference.

Forks Returning to Normal Self After Devastating Forest Fire Forks is gradually getting back to normal living as a climax to almost a week of fear and anxiety when it was expected last Thursday afternoon and evening that the devastating forest fire would wipe out the entire town. The fire did burn the north end of Forks, destroying 23 homes, nine cabins, three barns, four garages and a sawmill. Considerable equipment in and near the large gypo operator's garages also were lost in the blaze.
