Going all out with “Spartan Spirit” for homecoming week is the crew at Ron’s Food Mart & Shell Station. Store owner Ron Johanson dyed his beard blue for the occasion. Here Ron is joined by (from left) Elizabeth Schwenker, Stephenie Browning and Tona Kane. Ron also commission a Spartan football victory mural painted by Forks artist Vern Hestand. The Forks High School homecoming game is scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 at Spartan Stadium, with Rochester High School traveling to Forks to play the Spartans.
