Just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night, Sept. 28, a 1992 Ford F150 pick-up driven by Willey Gilley, age 56, of Forks, left the roadway near milepost 189 on US Highway 101. The vehicle was northbound when it swerved to the right and overturned in a ravine.

The pick-up was totaled. It is unknown if Gilley was wearing a seat belt. The accident is under investigation by Washington State Patrol. According to WSP drugs or alcohol were not involved
