Neah caps perfect season with win over Bruins

Neah topped Clallam 76-14 in Friday night’s Battle of the Bays.

The home win gave Neah Bay’s football squad an undefeated regular season as the Red Devils look for a third straight slot in the state 1B championship game.

The Devils start the playoffs with a crossover game Saturday against Lopez, which topped Quilcene 37-20 in a half-game elimination tiebreaker Monday.

Josiah Greene led the Neah Bay attack with six touchdowns and 338 yards of total offense. Greene tossed for three scores, ran for two more and reeled in a 72-yard pass from his brother Ben Greene.

Greene hit on 10 of 12 passes for the game for 191 yards, 134 of which went to Ezekiel Greene who reeled in two scoring catches.

Matt Mohr paced the Clallam Bay attack with 250 yards rushing and a touchdown.

The Bruins will conclude their season with a crossover game at Rainier Christian.
