Forks Spartans: Not a team … family

On an evening dedicated to the seniors of the Spartan football program, it was the bond of the pee wee ranks that owned the night. While the pee wee Spartans made memorable appearance during the Senior Night half time festivities, the youthful memories of yesteryear were fresh on the minds of this year’s seasoned veterans.

Pee Wee basketball really scores

For Colton Raben and Kody Hansen, Pee Wee basketball has come full circle, having started out playing and now coaching the two are even using the experience as a senior project.

Spartan season opener

The Spartans opened up their league schedule Tuesday March 25 versus Rochester and managed to put forth an effort as uneven as the weather.

Spartans take on Tenino

Forks and Tenino used up all of the available daylight Thursday March 27 in their 1A Southwest Evergreen League double header, and still left the field with unfinished business. Tenino took the first end of the series by a score of 11-1, while the second contest was postponed at a 5-5 tie due to darkness after five innings.

Spartans do well at Port Angeles invitational

Coach Pam Gale said her track and field team "did so awesome, it was crazy" at their first outing for the season.
