What do the Soroptimists do in our community?

Proceeds support Soroptimists SOS fund that gives money to cancer patients for travel to treatment. Alex King and Victoria Streuther each won a $100 certificate for Washburns store at Neah Bay. Soroptimist International of the Olympic Rain Forest is a non-profit organization helping women and their families in the Forks community.

A donation to SIORF and its fundraisers will:

• Help cancer patients with transportation costs

• Provide assistance for individuals touched by domestic violence

• Support children’s programs in schools

• Help feed children on the weekends

• Loan durable medical equipment to those in need

• Offer scholarships and awards to outstanding, deserving people in the community.
