During the week following Halloween, students at Forks Elementary School and Forks Intermediate School graciously donated portions of their candy to send to troops far and wide. Collectively, the schools raised more than 300 pounds of candy!

In first place, we have Mrs. Northcut’s class with 51 pounds, Second Place: Mrs. Haag’s class with 37 pounds, Third Place: Ms. Joynes’ class with 21 pounds, and in Fourth Place: ECEAP with 17 pounds.

We would like to give a special thank you to the Elks Club, and the Lions Club for their support to help us mail the Treats for Troops. Thank you to those in the community, including Forks Long-Term Care for donating candy.

Also a special shout out to the Forks Post Office for processing several packages filled with candy.
