Mail carriers hold food drive

Each May rural mail carriers across the country hold an activity called Stamp Out Hunger.

To participate, postal customers leave food donations at their mailboxes or at the post office.

Due to the current coronavirus shutdown, Forks carriers held their own drive.

Postmaster Laura Huling said, “As you may know, Stamp Out Hunger has been postponed until a later date. Our office wanted to contribute to our local food bank and held an employee food drive instead this week. Here are a few of our carriers and their efforts to support the Forks Food Bank.”
