Leah Lorraine Gardner, a long time resident of Bear Creek and Forks, went home to heaven on October 17, 2020, at the age of 70.

Lorraine was born in Roseburg, Oregon on March 17, 1950, to Ruth and Lloyd Felkner. She met her husband, Don Gardner, in Coquille, Oregon in 1968. They went on to have two children, Michael and Angela. Lorraine worked as a cashier at Thriftway for many years and then at Spoons Cafe before retiring.

In addition to being a dedicated, loving mother and wife, Lorraine was a very kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those that surrounded her.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Hines, father Lloyd Felkner, and husband, Don Gardner. Lorraine is survived by her children Michael Gardner and Angela Ramos, grandchildren Adrianna and Edvino Ramos, and sisters Linda Taft and Lori Brubaker.
