Neah Bay turns to youngsters in rout

Neah Bay’s seniors punched the clock early Saturday as the young Red Devils saw a huge chunk of playing time in a 60-0 win over visiting Crescent.

Josiah Greene hit three first quarter touchdowns; a 61-yard run, a 24-yard interception return and a 54-yard pass to Zeke Greene to lead a Neah Bay onslaught that went to 32-0 midway through the opening frame.

With the game in hand, Josiah Greene turned quarterback duties over to his eighth-grade kid brother, Ben, who immediately connected with freshman Cole Svec on a 25-yard scoring toss to end the first quarter with a 40-0 Devils lead.

The younger Greene put up three touchdowns in the second half.
