Students submit a written paper, prepare a visual display about their subject, and make a public presentation. Scholarships are awarded for the best work in junior and senior categories each year. Cecilia Estrada Elena of Forks was the 2018 winner and last week at the meeting of the West End Historical Society she was the guest of honor. Here Executive Director, Kathy Estes NOHC shows Cecilia her check for $1,500 which will be forwarded to the college she will be attending.
