Auto Tech Program benefits from Ruddell Auto donation

Students in the Peninsula College Automotive Technology Program will benefit from a recent donation to their classroom.

Ruddell Auto of Port Angeles and General Motors donated a 1999 Chevrolet 2500 4X4 pickup, 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and a 2008 Pontiac to the program, giving students valuable training on each of the vehicles.

“The Auto Tech program at PC is an important, valuable element of our educational community and we enjoy being able to support and help out,” said Howie Ruddell, owner of Ruddell Auto.

“We appreciate having a great local program where students can grow and learn. Good things are happening thanks in no small part to the dedication of the teaching and support staff.”

“Automotive Technology is changing at such a rapid pace today, without help from our local partners we would not be able to keep up,” said Auto Tech Program Coordinator Mike Hansen. “These donations from Ruddell and General Motors will make that possible.”
