5th Grade: Norah Enges

Norah was selected as student of the month because she is responsible, respectful, and teachers can rely on her to get any job done. Norah’s favorite color is green. Her favorite food is salad. Norah likes snow leopard’s history, and to do art in her free time. Norah’s teachers commented,” Norah is a good, kind-hearted student. She’s caring and forgiving.” “Norah has a strong character. She has a good heart and is always kind, compassionate and respectful.” “ She’s an active learner in class and works to keep her grades up.”

“Norah is polite, courteous, and respectful. She is kind and helpful to teachers and peers.” Norah likes school because students get out early on Wednesdays. This year she has set the goal to learn all of the states in order. Norah sends a shout-out to her parents for supporting her. Thank you for being so kind and respectful to all Norah!

6th Grade: Kimi Jernimo-Pablo

Kimi was selected as student of the month because she exemplifies responsibility. Kimi likes the color blue. Her favorite food is hamburgers, she likes pandas and pugs. Kimi’s favorite subject is social studies and in her free time she enjoys reading. Kimi likes school because her teachers are nice and they teach in fun ways. This year her goal is to earn money. Kimi’s teachers reported that she is a hard worker and pays greater attention to details. She is also a role model of behavior in the classroom. One teacher said, “Kimi is an outstanding student who deserves to be Student of the Month. She goes above and beyond with her assignments. Her humor makes the class fun for her peers and her teachers.” Another teacher commented, “Kimi is an extremely hard-working student who goes above and beyond in everything she does. Kimi is always ahead in her school work, she is a great friend and she is kind to everyone whether they are in her friend group or not.” One final comment from Kimi’s teachers, “I have seen Kimi volunteer to help students who are struggling on an assignment, come in from other classes after her work is completed to help with classroom projects/events and she always does the extras with a smile on her face.” She would like to thank Ms. Klebe for always supporting her. All of Kimi’s teachers agree, it has been a pleasure to have Kimi in class this year.

7th Grade: Katelin McNab

Katelin is a kind and hardworking student. Her favorites include the color blue, fried rice, and cats. In her free time she enjoys drawing. Katelin’s favorite subject this year is band. Katelin likes school because she gets to be with her friends and hang out with them during the day. This year she has set the goal to pass 7th grade and go on to 8th grade (which she will have no problems doing). Katelin is a bright student who is very capable. Katelin’s teachers commented, “She is always on task and looking for opportunities to grow. She stepped out of her comfort zone and excelled in the drama production. Even when facing adversity, I’ve never heard her say something negative about another student.” Another teacher commented, “Katelin is a sincere student who tries hard to do the right things.”Katelin would like to thank her dad and teachers for always supporting her. Thank you Katelin for being you! Teachers appreciate you!

8th Grade: Danikka King

Danikka was selected as student of the month for being a polite and respectful human. Danikka likes school because she gets to see her friends. Her favorites include the color pink, albondigas soup, giraffes, history, and painting her nails in her free time. Danikka’s teachers had so many great things to say about her, “Danikka is such a wonderful student. She is very polite and quiet, but she is an excellent team leader when she works with other students. Her effort in all the details and careful responses is very obvious and I really appreciate her ownership of her learning in Science.” Also, “Danikka is polite and respectful to her peers and teachers, because of this she is a delight to have in the classroom. She also consistently completes high quality work and she takes great pride in doing a good job on every assignment.” Another great comment, “Danikka is always ready to offer a smile to anyone passing by and is like a ray of sunshine moving through the school halls. She is dedicated to the quality of her work and any additional extra-curriculars she chooses to take on. Danikka’s quiet yet confident demeanor sets her up to make all of her peers feel welcomed and comfortable.” One teacher reported, “Danikka King is a straight A student who is a self-advocate for her own learning, a hard worker, and works well helping her peers to learn along with her. She also has a very positive attitude.” Danikka has set the goal of getting a 4.0 this year. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her.
