The Forks Chamber of Commerce sponsored Logging and Mill Tour gets ready to depart the Forks Visitor Information Center last Wednesday. Tourists this day were from England, California and Utah. Their trusted tour guide for the day was Richard Halverson, far right in the photo. They visited a Dahlgren Log logging site near Beaver Lake. You don’t have to be a tourist to go on the tour, locals are welcome too. The bus leaves the VIC on Wednesday mornings about 9 a.m. and returns around noon.
