A Weekend of FREE Arts for the Community: An Artistic Eclipse!

All events are free to the public, family-friendly, and sponsored by the Rainforest Council for the Arts. All events take place at the Rainforest Arts Center in downtown Forks.

Friday, Sept. 29

7-9 p.m. – Open Mic (Singing, Poetry, Comedy, Etc. – Bring Your Talents)

6:30 p.m – Doors open to the public. Come to perform or just to enjoy the talents of others.

Saturday, Sept. 30

Free Blues and Partner Dance Lessons by Rodger Rentara and Heather Lietzke.

2-3 p.m. – Free Dance Lesson for Ages 4 to 9.

3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Free Dance Lesson for Ages 10-18.

5-6 p.m. Free Dance Lesson for Adults.

7-10:30 pm Nighttime Music for dancing or listening featuring Nina Wasankari and the band Richwine Road.

Sunday, Oct. 1

1:30-4 pm Free Arts and Crafts for all ages with movement activities for kids throughout the day.

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Acting Class (Ages 15+ and Adults) by Marni Whitehead. The class will be followed by a short Rainforest Players Community Theatre informational meeting.

All events are FREE! However, throughout the events will be a bake sale, raffle baskets, and donation jars to benefit the purchase of a digital piano to provide music for the Forks Long Term Care.
