The male and female depicted in recent Walmart surveillance photos were identified after the images were publicly released on March 25, in an ongoing investigation into distribution of counterfeit $20 and $50 bills.

The names are not being released at this time because the matter is still under active investigation.

Thanks to the rapid assistance of the media, the diligence of Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputies, investigative assistance by the Lower Elwha Tribal Police Department, and the citizens of Washington State, tips and leads developed rapidly.
