Elks Vocational Grant winners from Forks

“Vocational Grant”

The Washington State Elks Association Vocational Grant is designed to help graduating high school seniors pursue their vocational education. This grant may be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies at a Community College or Technical School.”

Forks Recipients of a Vocational Grant were Riley Smith and Cameron Kennedy both winners of $2,500.

Other Forks students receiving grants but unable to attend the dinner honoring them were Amya Hampton- $3,500, Hannah Gates – $2,500, and Grady Earls – $2,500.

The total grants given by Washington State Elks Association were $27,000. Three Forks girls, one Walla Walla girl. Two Forks boys, two Mount Vernon boys, one from Bremerton, and one from Yakima.
