Hoh Road construction activities and upcoming work

Last week and the week before, Interwest Construction Inc. (ICI) completed the stream channel restoration and re-watering of Canyon Creek under the new bridge and began finishing the slopes around the site ahead of final stabilization and turf establishment to be completed in the coming weeks.

Lakeside Industries also paved the roadway on both sides of the Canyon Creek bridge. ICI continues to work on the final shaping of the bankside and shoulder behind the Engineered Log Jams at MP 4.5 and will continue this week.

Impacts to Traffic

• The following work zones can be expected on Upper Hoh Road:

MP 4.5: Temporary Traffic Signals or Flaggers for shoulder clean up and revegetation

MP 10: Temporary Traffic Signals or Flaggers for construction at the Canyon Creek Bridge

• Travelers should expect delays at each of these locations, up to a total of 30 minutes per passage through the project corridor Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
