Hoh Road – work done for the season

Last week, Interwest Construction Inc. (ICI) completed the cottonwood and willow pole plantings at the Engineered Log Jams.

In combination with the native seed mix applied in the hydroseed, these plantings will help establish native vegetation on the bank.

ICI also completed the final permanent signage at the Canyon Creek Bridge.

ICI will return next year to continue construction of the ELJ’s at MP4 and to replace the Tower Creek Bridge at MP 7.8.

There are currently no active lane closure construction zones for this project.

Work will resume in March 2022. Project managers ask that the public not cross the temporary construction fencing along the ELJ’s at NP 4.5, as this area is in the process of revegetation.
