Barry and Diane Krieg, of Vancouver, WA, were this year’s Tourists of the Day. After being showered with gifts provided by our generous local businesses they were showered upon by a bit of rain as they rode in the Grand Parade on Monday. Being Washingtonians they didn’t seem to mind. They were driven in the parade by Judge Bruce Hanify. The Forks Chamber of Commerce coordinates the Tourist of the Day activities each 4th.

Richard and Kandi Lohneis were honored this year as the Grand Marshals for the parade. Both are longtime/lifetime residents of the area and have operated businesses as well as participated in local activities that have bettered our community.

A pony! was in the Kiddies Parade, organized by the Forks Emblem Club.

The one chance you get to ride your bike down the middle of Mainstreet! Participate in the Kiddies Parade.

Semi-retired Rainee Signor was back twirling in the Forks 4th of July parade! She is a 13-year competitor in twirling her batons and came out of retirement to twirl her fire batons in the parade.

Forks American Legion Post #106 offered this entry in the parade on July 4th. The Post continues to be active in the community; holding a breakfast, placing flags at the cemetery, and handing out Poppies to people in the parade staging area.

What would a Forks Old Fashioned 4th of July parade be without Log Trucks!? This Dilley and Soloman 2021 Peterbilt was driven by Dewey Ross-Penn with Avery “Bummy” Bumgarner in the passenger seat. Thanks to all the truckers for participating on their day off!

Thank you Coast Guard Station Quillayute River!
