KING ARTHUR’S QUEST Audition

An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of KING ARTHUR’S QUEST Monday, Jan. 15, (a non-school day) from noon to 2 p.m. in the Forks High School Commons. Those auditioning and his/her parent/guardian should arrive at 11:45 a.m. to complete the permission form, and students should plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Parents: you MUST come in with your student to fill out the form! Because every minute is needed to prepare, no students will be allowed into the audition after 12:05 p.m.

Among the roles to be cast are King Arthur; Guinevere; Merlin; Raven; Taleisin; Lancelot; the Knights; the Squires; the Camelotians; the Lady of the Lake; Mordred, Morgan Le Fey; Uther Pendragon; the Damsels; and the Minis. All students, grades Kindergarten through 12th grade, are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to assist with the technical aspects of the production.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props, and makeup. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 3:30 to 8 p.m. (2:30 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday’s Early Release) each day.

KING ARTHUR’S QUEST will be presented on Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Forks High School Commons at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Forks is brought to you by Quillayute Valley School District with support from Misty Valley Inn.
