Lake Pleasant Grocery Store Burglary and Update

On June 20 at about 4:47 a.m., Lake Pleasant Grocery Store owner James “Clell” Henson discovered his business, at 200371 Highway 101

On June 20 at about 4:47 a.m., Lake Pleasant Grocery Store owner James “Clell” Henson discovered his business, at 200371 Highway 101, Beaver, had been burglarized sometime overnight. Henson discovered cash, alcohol and tobacco products missing from the store.

 

 

Deputies from the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the burglary. Deputies determined that unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the store through the back of the business. The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the burglary of the Lake Pleasant Grocery Store. Update: Following tips and leads developed during the ensuing investigation by Deputies, probable cause was developed for the arrest of two juvenile males responsible for the Monday morning burglary of the Lake Pleasant Grocery Store. Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the two juvenile males in Beaver early Monday evening, recovering a majority of the cash taken during the burglary. The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community for their support and information in identifying the persons responsible for the burglary and theft of items from the Lake Pleasant Grocery Store. The case has been referred to the Clallam County Juvenile Prosecutor for a formal charging decision.
