March Students of Character

Jack Delgado

This young man does the morning announcements every weekday. This task can be fun but also extremely intimidating. Jack has learned to speak clearly on the intercom even with interruptions. At times we throw additional things to announce on the drop of a dime and Jack creatively handles it. He stays calm and confident with charismatic creative control. Thank you for making each day better with your announcements.

Janessa is always creating something beautiful and original. Every poster, art project and spirit day costume is creative and original.

Ms. French

Mollie Franklin

I have nominated Mollie Franklin for recognition of her Creativity in the Student of Character program because she is imaginative, has copious amounts of original ideas, and regularly uses those qualities to produce wonderful artwork. Mollie’s imagination shows through frequently in her drawings and ideas that incorporate fantastic characters, creatures, and concepts. Her ability to produce original thought leads to incredibly interesting and thought provoking work that is of high caliber and impressive detail. She constantly sets a high standard for work that is the envy of her peers. Additionally, she uses her creativity to solve problems in new and innovative ways, looking at issues from multiple perspectives and implementing solutions that are novel and exciting.

Dr. Cavill

Mollie Franklin

Mollie provides impressive artistic contributions to her assignments that always go above and beyond expectations.

Ms. Miller

Kinley Rondeau

Kinley has caught my attention in the different creative angles that she has approached the multimodal assignments in English class. Rather than following the instructions to a “t,” Kinley is constantly thinking outside of the box and approaching the expression of her ideas from original point of views. She is always going above and beyond “the rubric” to make everything her own and take pride in the work she produces.

Ms. Erickson

Morgan Howell

Morgan has a sense of humor and artistic skills that bring joy to me daily.

Ms. Miller

Jorge Diaz Rodriguez

Jorge has a very quick wit that often leads to creative responses and dialogues.

Ms. Miller

Darinel Garcia-Lopez

Darinel is an extremely dedicated student with a brilliant creative eye. Specifically, Darinel’s multimodal book project was magnificent! The details were so intricate and complex; the complexness of his creativity showed how diligently he works and how much depth of thought he put into reflecting on his chosen novel.

Ms. Erickson

Janessa Ramos

This student is a very talented artist. I have had the privilege of seeing some of her art work and am blown away by her creativity. She gives her entire heart in her projects and it shows. Keep up the great work you talented young lady!

Ms. Gillett

Walker Rondeau

I had no idea how artistic Walker is until I saw all of his art projects. He surprised us by showing his creative intuitive side. Walker you do so many things well but you make art look easy and I know it isn’t. Keep with it, you are too talented not to.

Ms. Gillett

Mollie Franklin

Every word she writes illuminates her voice and vision.

Mrs. Archibald

Kaiden Terletter

This young man is a storyteller- his expression, details, settling in to talk- he pulls you in and makes it hard to ask him to get on task!

Mrs. Archibald

Sloan Tumaua

Sloan has a creative touch in every project he works on he injects creativity into doodles clay sculptures and his creative humor puts smiles on many faces. His ability to lighten moods and make people smile with his quick wit is truly impressive.

Mr. Richard

Marissa Villicana

Marissa is so kind and so sweet! I enjoy having her in class for so many reasons but one of those reasons is her creativity! She loves to be active and create fun things in class. She enjoys decluttering and cleaning up spaces. She also enjoys taking photos and making things look good. Marissa, thank you for being creative and bringing positive energy everywhere you go! You make my heart happy everyday!

Ms. Vanderveur

Angel Fryberg

Angel has been one of the most creative students I’ve met! She should look into a future with interior design because she’d really rather create something beautiful than do anything boring. On multiple occasions, Angel has made posters, requested to make posters, and leaves cute little notes wherever she goes. She’s sneaky, but in a good way and she likes to make people smile- especially if they don’t know something came from her. Angel is always one of the first students to give me ideas on what we should do to spruce things up in my classroom. She’s also been doing some creative writing lately that is fun to read. Angel, thank you for being you! Oh, and thank you for reminding me it was time to update my phone case! Maybe next year I’ll have a Stanley, too! Probably not, but if I did, it would be because of you!

Ms. Vanderveur

Leani Gomez-Shale

Leani attends as many school events as possible and works hard to capture moments for the yearbook. She puts time and effort into making sure people would want to look at or read something before she turns it in and she can easily spot errors. Leani, thank you for bringing creativity to this school and for helping us capture all the moments so you guys can look back on them in the future.

Ms. Vanderveur

Bobby Wallace

Bobby is quite the creative writer. His stories are always great to read and the plot twists he creates are out of this world! I enjoy having Bobby as a student and the way he thinks is just amazing. Don’t even get me started on his dad jokes! He cracks me up on a regular basis with those! He’s a great kid with a kind heart and laugh that gets everyone else laughing with him. Bobby, thank you for being you and thank you for bringing a positive light to anyone around you!

Ms. Vanderveur

Eduardo Calmo

Photo taking might not be your favorite thing to do but, you do it well! You have captured some great photos throughout this school year and your unique angles help the photos become more than they would have if you were just trying to complete the task. By the way, your business calls are on point! You have a great way with words- especially when you’re talking to someone you don’t know. That takes a lot of courage and I’m proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone! Thank you for being you!

Ms. Vanderveur

Emily Cortez-Vazquez

Emily is quite the fashionista! She believes everyday should be about fashion and looking your best. In today’s world, that’s not something we see everyday anymore. Emily, thank you for bringing beauty and creativity to the world and helping us capture these moments in the yearbook. You have a great eye for what works and what does not. I know I can always count on you to tell me if something is on point or needs work! Thank you!

Ms. Vanderveur

One has to pause and think to follow Charles’ insights and connections- but once understood, be ready to have your mind blown.

Mrs. Archibald

Kenny Damon

Just today in a room full of Seniors told Kenny he needs to “open his mouth” more because of the depth and creativity of his insights into the poetry we are reading at present.
