PPLC – Paint the Church

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church was built in 1968. Like any building it requires maintenance. Anyone who has driven by lately knows the exterior is looking a little shabby. Other repairs and maintenance have delayed the painting. That will change this summer. But the congregation is small and could use your help. The contractor who will paint the church is making a generous donation in his price and the congregation has donated a significant amount of the necessary funds. But another $3,000-4,000 is needed.

Many of you have been past members or friends of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and may want to help complete this work. “To donate,” says Sue Trettevik, administrative assistant for the church, “simply write “Paint the Church” in the notes section on your check and mail it to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 660, Forks, WA 98331. Another option is to bring the check with you to the upcoming Winter Fest Dinner on February 3; just drop the check into the donation box before enjoying a wonderful meal and fellowship.”
