Over the course of the year, I have really appreciated Alyna’s honesty. She has on numerous occasions relayed information to me that I needed to know. She is a hard worker and always authentically does her own classwork. Alyna is also authentically herself. She never tries to be someone else to earn points, but is comfortable with who she is and is honest about that in her interactions with others.

Ohm-Rin Fraker:

I have nominated Ohm-Rin Fraker as a Student of Character in recognition of his character trait of Honesty because he is a truthful, sincere, and frank young man who exhibits no evidence of deceit or fraudulence in his behavior or words. He is the kind of person who can always be counted on to think before he speaks, weighing his responses against his own experiences and keen ability to discern right from wrong. His candid demeanor causes him to express himself in a manner that is forthright and occasionally surprising in its sincerity, clarity, and thoughtfulness. His honesty is an admirable trait that is only one small component of the incredible, respectful, and witty personality of Ohm-Rin Fraker.

Landen is an extremely trustworthy student. Having Landen in my class this year, there has never been a moment where I felt he is being dishonest with me. Landen is always communicative about what he needs. He takes pride in the work that he accomplishes and I am confident in saying the work he turns in is authentically his. Landen advocates for himself when he needs additional help, and always distances himself from peers when he needs to focus. All of these traits and actions equate to Landen being a genuine, honest person.
