Ms. French

Jenni Boston

I have nominated Jenni Boston as a Student of Character in recognition of her character trait of Persistent because I have seen her exemplify this attribute over and again this year. In my class, she has been steadfast in her actions and desire to succeed despite the difficulty she experiences and the frustrations she feels. Regardless of the struggle she goes through one day, she comes in the next with a fresh view and a willingness to do her best. She adamantly persists and the payoff is that she continues to get better and better at the work. She does not allow herself to stay mired in negativity even though many of her peers do, but instead she accepts that failure is a necessary part of growth and ventures forth tenaciously. I am proud of the advancements that JennI has made and I recognize her for ardently pursuing her best self.
