That’s Right! There are gardens growing at Hoko River State Park. The Friends of Hoko River State Park have potatoes in for the September Potato Dig/Seed Swap. The Friends Group will be hosting tours at the Cowan Heritage Site on Sundays from 2-4 p.m. in July, August and September, following recommended health guidelines. In addition to the gardens, renewed pioneer orchard, demonstration garden plots, and Little Hoko River Trail, we have new attractions: Kiwi trees, Hugelmounds, Quinoa, and more.

Plan to stop by along the Hoko/Ozette Road, just off of Highway 112, a mile or so west of Sekiu. Share garden stories and more. Volunteers are needed for trail and garden work. Contact 360-963-2442 for more information or view Friends of Hoko River State Park Facebook page.
