The Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Tour to make a stop in Sequim

This unique museum on wheels is free to the community and helps to honor local veterans.

Wreaths Across America (WAA) in Clallam County is proud to announce a local stop for the WAA Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) national tour. The event will take place at the old JC Penney parking lot located at West Washington Street and 7th Ave. in Sequim, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1.

Michael Trebert Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution is the Clallam County Coordinator for Wreaths Across America at ten cemeteries from Gardiner to Forks. You can sponsor a veteran’s wreath anytime for $15 at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/WA0153. Each WREATH sponsorship goes toward a live, balsam wreath that will be placed on the headstone of an American hero at one of the 10 cemeteries this year. All veterans laid to rest in Clallam County will be honored on Saturday, Dec. 17, as part of National Wreaths Across America Day.
