Great View Fire as viewed from the former Hoh River washout on the Upper Hoh Road on Sunday afternoon.

Hoh area resident Ray Fortin reported a couple camping in the area called it in. Fortin said, “Great shout out to them, if they weren’t there it could be much larger by now!” He also reported that there were 2 choppers working the fire.
