Harriet Ann Tiemeyer

1943-2024

Harriet Ann Tiemeyer was born in Everett, WA on January 8, 1943, to Melburn and June Hughes. She passed on January 20, 2024, she was 81 years old.

In July 1997 she married Robert Tiemeyer at their home on Lake Pleasant.

Harriet loved gardening, the joy of cooking for family, and traveling the world with her beloved husband. Many of you appreciated the tomato plants, vegetables and flowers from her very own garden.

Her cooking was downright amazing and famously known as “Harriet Food!” She was someone who invested in the Forks community as guardian ad litem and foster parent to several children. Always a familiar face, serving as Postmaster for more than 35 years at the Beaver Post Office.

Later in life, Harriet also volunteered for Feeding 5000; a local non-profit where she could share her love of cooking. Pies were her specialty.

Harriet is survived by her husband Robert; children Don Tryon, Susan Ruiz, Kris (George) Rottinghaus, Linda Garbrick, and Marc (Amy) Tiemeyer; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. Services to be announced later.
