Howard Bradley Hughes

Howard Bradley Hughes (Brad) has gone home to be with God. He passed away December 28, 2023. He was born in Everett, Washington at Providence Hospital on July 2, 1967, to Ray and Donna (Buckingham) Hughes. The family moved from Granite Falls to Forks on the Olympic Peninsula when Brad was eight years old.

He grew up happy riding his YZ 80 motorcycle on the burn and camping trips on the river bar with his family. He loved fishing the rivers with his dad; his best friend. Brad was a huge Seahawks fan also sharing this passion with his dad. He was very much loved by his family.

He graduated from Forks High School in 1985 where he enjoyed playing football, wrestling, and was manager for the boy’s high school basketball team.

Brad married Kim Elliott on March 02, 1996. They later divorced. He has two daughters Erika and Briana Hughes. He has two grandsons Cameron and Kobe whom he loved dearly.

Brad drove logging truck and chip truck for many years.

He is survived by his Father and Mother of Granite Falls, Washington; his sister Lori Capp of Forks, Washington and had many nieces, nephews, and cousins dear to his heart.

He was a member of the Wind of Joy Christian Fellowship Church in Granite Falls, Washington.

Brad loved animals so any memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Forks Animals or the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society.
