Louis Corbin Reaume

December 11, 1954 – August 10, 2023

On August 10, 2023, Louis Corbin Reaume, loving Son, Brother, Father, Poppy and Grand Poppy, passed away unexpectedly at home.

Louis was born to Emmett and Betty (LaRonge) Reaume on December 11, 1954, in Port Angeles, WA. He was the oldest of six children, five boys and one girl. He attended school at the old Beaver School and later graduated from Forks High School in 1973.

Louis met the love of his life, Judy at Pay n Save Coffee Shop in 1977 and married April 29, 1978. Soon to follow would be the birth of their daughter, Yvonne and almost four years later, their son, Quentin.

It seemed as if Louis never knew a stranger, and was quick to visit with anybody. Louis’ kids and grandchildren like to joke that he knew a little about everything, and to them, he was the smartest man around! Later on in his life, his grandchildren enjoyed watching Jeopardy with him, even though they knew he would always win.

Louis was a hard-working family man, who always enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his children and grandchildren. He spent the last year of his life learning to adjust after Judy’s passing by perfecting his soup recipes, bass fishing, visiting with people at the local restaurants and stores. He loved being a Poppy to his grandchildren, and a Grand Poppy to his great grandchildren. He was extremely proud of all of them, and their unique personalities.

Louis was preceded in death by his wife, his father, his brother Andrew, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother; siblings: Christian, Tina, Raoul, and Justin; children: Yvonne (Jeremy) and Quentin (Kersten); grandchildren: Corbin (Belle), Joseph (Lexi), Alaina, Hayden (Jaden), Mercedes, Carter, Payton and Madden; and great-grandchildren: Waylon and Trevor, with a great-granddaughter on the way. He is survived by an aunt, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be December 2, 2023, at the American Legion Hall-651 E Division St, Forks, WA at 1:00PM
