No right to harass

I was sad and disappointed to read the story about the man in the red pick up who verbally assaulted tourists to the point of scaring them and ruining what had been a wonderful and positive visit for them.

Like it or not, it is the tourists who have come to our town that have helped to keep businesses open which in turn keeps the people of Forks working and able to continue living here. Driving slow or speeding through town is frustrating however, it does not give anyone the right to harass.

What was done with that action only lent itself to a perception of ignorance and uncontrolled anger. Fortunately, that type of behavior does not represent this town, the people who live here or our values.
