The Clallam Bay Eight traveled to Quilcene and fell 0-18 to the hosts in a monsoon matchup.

Because of the heavy downpour, both sides turned the ball over multiple times, one of which led to a defensive score by the Rangers.

Another slippery score came when the Quilcene quarterback dropped the snap, picked it back up and heaved a 35-yard touchdown pass.

League play starts next week for the Bruins, who will face Northwest Football League North Division foe Crescent Friday night at Clallam Bay.
