Klahhane Gymnastics Results

The Klahhane Gymnastics had a busy weekend. The girl’s team competed at the Skookum Showdown Friday, March 10 and Sunday, March 12 while the boy’s Team competed at the Washington State Championships Saturday, March 11.

In Friday Competition Elyse Brown lead the Gold team binging home 5 medals with a 1st Place All-around (37.600) in the Jr. B age group. Brown picked additional gold meals on Vault (9.4); Uneven Bars (9.475) and Balance Beam (9.4.00) and 1 Bronze medal on Floor Exercise (9.325). Raynee Ciarlo finished 3rd on Vault in the same age group (9.000). Dalen Williams finished 3rd on Floor (9.200) and 4th Alll-Around (35.250) In the Sr. A age group . Harper Hilliker and Gracelyn Goss picked up individual medals in the Jr. A age group. Hilliker finished 2nd on Vault(8.700) and 2nd on Floor (9.175) with Goss taking 4th on Vault and Uneven Bars with scores of 6.675 on both events.

In the Platinum Division Scarlett Sullivan lead the group with a 3rd place finish in the All-around (36.675) and a Silver medal on Floor Exercise (9.300). Mariah Traband finished 3rd on Uneven Bars (9.050) and 5th All-around (35.350) Kira Hartman had a 34.075 All-around to qualify to the State Meet in Pasco March 31-April 2. Lucy Spelker came back with an individual 3rd place medal on Floor Exercise (9.150) and 5th All-around 35.700).

In the Men’s Washington State Competition at Everett Community College on Saturday Connor DeWolf finished 4th in the Level 9 14-15 age group with a 68.15 All-around. DeWolf took Gold medals on Rings (12.1) and High Bar (11.4) and tied for a Silver Medal on Vault (12.3). Competing in the same age group, Liam DeWolf claimed the Gold medal on Floor (12.6) and 4th on Pommel Horse (11.1).

On Sunday the girls’ Bronze team wrapped up the weekend with another excellent performance at the Skookum Showdown bringing back 30 top 3 medals. Lainey DePiro claimed the group’s highest score of the day with 38.100 in the All-Around in the Sr. A age group finishing 1st on Vault (9.600), 2nd on Bars (9.6.00) 2nd on Beam (9.400) and 1st on Floor (9.500)

CarlyMae Riggs and Charlotte Nevill went one, two in the Child A division. Riggs took the Gold medal in All-Around (38.050) and Individual Golds on Vault (9.65). Bars (9.700) Beam (9.500) and Silver on Floor (9.200), Nevill pick up the Silver medals in All-Around (37.300) Vault (9.500), Bars (9.400), Beam (9.25) and was 4th on Floor (9.15).

In the Child B age group Makinlee Thomason was 2nd All-around (36.400) and 1st on Floor (9.2). Payton Lindley took 2nd All-around in Child C (37.60) and 1st on Vault and Bars scoring 9.65 on both events.

In the Junior A age group Morgan Smith and Raeleigh Thomason claimed the top two places on the podium. Smith was 1st All-around (37.700) and claimed a top three medal on every event Vault 1st (9.5) Bars erd (9.55) Beam 2nd (9.300) and Floor lst (9.35). Thomason was 2nd All-around (37.250) with 2nd on Vault (9.3) 1st on Beam (9.35) and 2nd on Floor (9.3).

The entire girls team head to Pacso for the State Championships March 31 -April 2. 1700 Xcel Gymnasts from around the state will be competing
