Forks at Pacific League

RAYMOND — The Forks girls finished third and the boys fourth at the Pacific 2B League subdistrict meet on Friday.

The Spartans did especially well in the relays and field events.

Forks’ Nate Dahlgren won the shot put with a distance of 46-8, a personal record. He also won the javelin with another personal- record throw of 142-0.

Grady Earls won the long jump with a leap of 18-3¼, another personal record.

For the girls, Keana Rowley won the javelin with a throw of 97-0, beating teammate Peyton Johnson, who was second at 90-3.

The boy’s 4×400 relay team of Klaton Helvey, Earls, Noah Foster and Camryn Kennedy came in first in a time of 3:45.0.

The girl’s 4×200 team (Miley Blanton, Erika Williams, Emery Damron and Leslie Hernandez-Beltran) was first in a time of 1:56.98.

Williams came in second in the 200 (26.36), while Damron was second in the 400 (1:07.80). Williams was second in the long jump (14-2) and Rowley was second in the shot put (29-10½).

The Forks 4×400 girls team (Moli Luong, Julia Raupp, Damron and Hernandez-Beltran) was second in a time of 4:36.55, while the girls 4×100 team (Hernandez-Beltran, Williams, Damron and Blanton) was second in a time of 56.05.

For the boys, Kennedy was second in the 400 meters (54.01).
