90th Harvest Dinner Thank you to Church members and Community

Our 90th Annual Harvest Dinner was a huge success thanks to the many volunteers and donations from our members/the community. We fed around 325 people and we took in a little over $4,000 with paid customers and donations. Donations are still coming in.

I would like to thank the following, Heidi Gaydeski for the beautiful decorations, the set-up crew, workers on the floor serving and cleaning tables, home school moms cutting pies, home school students serving pie to people, girl scouts helping out on the floor serving people, prep cooks, dish washers, table bussers, cooks who prepared the food, the school for the use of the facilities and overseeing the cooking of the food, pie bakers, and Shelley Castellano’s Culinary class that made several Pumpkin pies. There were many organizations represented working hand in hand.

As you can see it takes a small army to pull off a dinner like this. It is very humbling to see selfless acts of generosity by this community. Next up is Breakfast with Santa, Sponsored by West End and Business & Professional Association & Congregational Church December 13, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., hope to see a good turnout for this one as well.
