Animals Meeting March 6th
Mike French, West End Clallam County Commissioner was invited to the Friends of Forks Animals March meeting to discuss animal welfare issues on the West End. FOFA members discussed their concerns over the lack of animal control on the West End of Clallam County and other issues concerning animals. Commissioner French will return for the May 1 FOFA Meeting to do a follow-up on some of the questions asked.The meeting will be at 11 a.m. in the conference room at the Forks Library.

The West End Historical Society will re-live the heyday of Harley’s Resort, a former La Push business, when they view a 30-minute promotional film from the early 1960s at their next meeting on Tuesday, March 19, at noon, at the Congregational Church. The film was discovered in an attic in Port Angeles about 15 years ago and transferred to DVD. The film shows lots of fishing action and even a few familiar faces.
