This set of two books with 15 original stories are beautifully illustrated with 150 paintings. “Stampy and Friends” and “Stories for Stampy” are written by Author and Watercolorist Barb Paschal. Self-published and printed locally; they are a great gift for children ages 6-10 years old.

The stories are gentle fun tales about giraffes, hippos, horses, dogs, rabbits, frogs, bears, cows, birds and more! Each character has a name and personality and the brightly colored paintings are set in forests and orchards, near mountains, rivers, and waterfalls and front porches.

All of the characters enjoy walking and playing together wherever they are and surprises along the way!

These books have helped kids read better and enjoy reading often for the first time. The illustrations and stories have been especially helpful for kids with dyslexia and other learning disabilities.
