Brody Lausche and Sawyer Graham have been chosen for the Jim Edwards Lineman Scholarship for this year.

Jim was hired by Clallam County PUD in 1968 and was a groundman for 2 years, an apprentice for 3 years, an apprentice lineman for 29 years, all in Forks. He was often frustrated that they were short-staffed for linemen in the Forks area and he was required to take many middle-of-the-night calls. When he passed away, we chose to have memorials fund a scholarship in his name to assist young men who were interested in the lineman trade to help them with tuition. Many friends, co-workers and family have contributed to this fund since his passing in December 2021.

Thanks to those who donated, these young men received scholarships:

Austin Graham 2023, Ryan Rancourt 2023, Matthew Perry 2024, Cash Coleman 2024, Brody Lausche 2025, Sawyer Graham 2025. For a total of $15,000.
