Aamanda Lagambina, 25, died at Forks Community Hospital

Garrid Larson, 19, of Forks was booked into Clallam County Jail early Tuesday morning, March 12, in connection with the hit-and-run death of 25-year-old Calawah Way resident Aamanda Louise Lagambina, according to a Washington State Patrol report.

Larson was driving a red 1990 Toyota pick-up and struck Lagambina with the front center of the truck as she walked along Calawah Way near Leppell Road about 8:50 p.m. on Monday evening. She was carried 80 feet from where Larson struck her.

Larson, who was not injured, fled in his pick-up, according to the WSP report, and was later arrested.
